WebJul 4, 2013 · Don't make it harder than it is, it's dirt-simple. Remove the action screws, lift the barrelled action out of the stock. Set aside. Slide the triggerguard/magazine well out of the stock. Tape the magazine catch in place with some scotch tape so it doesn't wander off. Send the stock to KC for replacement. As you are installing the hammer, place the hammer arm through the sear and slide it onto the receiver until the hammer pin can depress into the hole in the receiver.
