The 75 is way overbuilt and will handle the extra thrust of a 40 S&W with no issues what so ever. Besides, the all steel construction adds a bit of weight so recoil is very tame. WebOct 8, 2024 · Actually I do think it's a cost cutting issue. Say it saves the company about $20 per guide rod. That's a $20,000 savings for each 1000 guns that they manufacture. Even if it was $10 that's still a $10,000 savings for each 1000 guns produced. Of course they could just add that cost to the price of each gun.

And there is a random 17FR also on the box tag. Neither of these two has any bar coding. The serial numbers being some what random have nothing to do with any thing. The slide stops are different, the P-01 has a longer and lower profile one and it doesn't stick out so far on the right side either.
